StuCo is delighted to highlight the leadership and initiative demonstrated by one of our peers, Tera Sarwan, in commemorating the celebration on Wednesday of Nowruz – the Persian New Year – on March 20th. StuCo would also like to thank the cafeteria, Fresh and Tasty, for their indispensable cooperation.

On March 22nd, the celebration featured balloons and at lunch, the students were able to choose a special lunch menu organized by the cafeteria with Tera’s input. Recognizing and celebrating different cultures in our community is vital, and StuCo will continue to work with students to celebrate the richness of our diverse community. StuCo will continue to support students to take initiative and be active to build a community where everyone is included.
