Despite being faced with the obstacle of losing two critical players on their roster, the Varsity team maintained their composure and persevered to formulate a vigorous crew of ten hardworking, sharp-witted, and veteran-like athletes. With months of strenuous preparation, this team came ready to show off their diverse talents against several international teams in Milan. Under the leadership of Coach Plicka, with the support of Captains Matteo and Tommaso Iannaccone, they pushed through grueling barriers and came in 2nd in the tournament! Needless to say, this wouldn’t have been possible without each other’s continuous support, resilience, and positive attitude on and off the court. Together, they created tons of unforgettable memories while building an unbreakable bond with one another. We are excited to see how the future of the next season treats its players and the ways they will cope with the upcoming trouble. We know one thing for sure, though; Coach Plicka and the returning players will certainly give it all they have!
